In one of our previous readings two important questions were asked: How can one define intelligence? In what ways can computers be less intelligent than people? In a way intelligence can be defined as the amount of knowledge one has acquired and ones capacity to learn. A computer is an awe-inspiring invention that according to this definition has the gift of intelligence. We rely on computers to store huge amounts of information to make up for our inability to retain so much. These inventions have become the backbone of society, but are these creations necessarily more intelligent than human beings?
The definition that I gave on intelligence before is missing one key part to it. Intuition which is sometimes based on our emotions is a vital element that creates an overall intelligent entity. One definition that I found on intuition is having direct perception of truth independent of any reasoning process. It is something that is not taught to you, and the human brain unlike a computer is the only thing capable of possessing it. In my opinion artificial intelligence does not have the capability to reach a humans unique intellect and mental power.

I also agree that intuition is a key factor in determining computers from human intelligence. I also think that morality goes along as a major difference. Without proper decision making what's to stop computers and artificial intelligence from acting in evil ways? I think that your post goes along well with Josh's presentation.
